Firm History

Hackenberg, Beutler, Rasmussen & Feighner, LLC was founded in 1971 by David A. Hackenberg as a general practice of law in Hancock County. The increasing need for reliable legal services in Hancock County and surrounding counties created the need for additional attorneys to join the office over the years: Robert A. Beutler, Jr. (1972), Donald J. Rasmussen (1984), Alan D. Hackenberg (1994), Robert E. Feighner, Jr. (1999), Stephanie M. Bishop (2009), Elliott T. Werth (2014), Marshall Wm. Finelli (2017), Kalina D. HIllard (2019), Mitchell A. Stowers (2021), Sean M. Abbott (2021).  In April of 2021 the firm modified its name and is currenlty known as Hackenberg, Feighner & Werth, LLC.

Hackenberg, Feighner & Werth, LLC has established our dedication to serving the needs of clients through general litigation needs: Family Law/Divorce, Bankruptcy, Appellate Practice, Landlord Tenant, Business Law, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Probate and Administrative Law. Hackenberg, Feighner & Werth, LLC through its sister company Legacy Title, LLC, provides real estate title work and title insurance in all eighty-eight counties of Ohio and handles closing transactions for local lenders and realtors.
